Workplace products and services group ACS has appointed global adventurer and environmental campaigner Nick Hollis as its brand ambassador.
Hollis is a renowned mountaineer with 15 years of experience in corporate management. In a statement, ACS said the campaigner’s professional and adventurer experiences will “provide advice and guidance to enable ACS Group to achieve its sustainability goals”.
The partnership – the reseller’s first of this kind – was announced at ACS Group’s inaugural sustainability summit on 28 June and is one of a series of steps towards reaching its net zero aim by 2030.
ACS Group Sustainability Manager Tom Taylor said: “Our goal is to harness his passion, expertise and business knowledge to help us continue to make the changes to our business that firmly embed more environmentally responsible behaviours.”
The partnership will also see the Yorkshire-based reseller support the 721 challenge. This is a Guinness World Record attempt by Hollis to climb the Seven Summits (the seven highest peaks on each continent), ski the North and South Poles and row the Atlantic Ocean in record time to raise awareness and money for the conservation of rainforests. ACS Group will help school customers who support the 721 challenge by donating 10% of funds needed to get involved.
