UK-based safety equipment and services supplier Arco has announced the opening of its new Customer Discovery Centre in Hull, marking the company’s first training facility in its hometown.
The centre combines product expertise, advanced safety training and industry collaboration in one location. It features Arco’s independent UKAS and SATRA-accredited Product Assurance Lab, alongside dedicated space for product innovation and development.
A key element of the facility is its expanded practical training provision, specialising in ‘hands-on’ confined space and working-at-height training. These practical offerings complement classroom-based courses, providing critical safety education for professionals in high-risk industries.
The Discovery Centre also includes three flexible learning spaces equipped with modern technology and displays, designed to facilitate customer engagement, training and knowledge-sharing.
Arco CEO Guy Bruce described the new centre as a strategic shift aimed at enhancing the customer experience: “By investing in world-class facilities and smarter ways to engage with our customers, this is more than an upgrade to our services: it’s a strategic shift in how our customers interact with Arco and how our safety solutions are developed, shared and experienced.”
The centre is now operational, providing customers with access to the latest advancements in safety equipment, PPE and workwear, along with expert guidance on product selection and development.
