Bisley has made a “significant investment” in MARK Product, a sustainably led furniture brand based in Cornwall.
MARK, which stands for Made And Realised in Kernow (‘Cornwall’ in the Cornish language), is led by designers and founders Anna Hart and John Miller. Founded in 2008, the brand has become popular with specialised high-end and sustainable office furniture project providers.
Bisley CEO Richard Costin said the investment – the level of which was not specified – formed part of a diversification into new product areas, especially soft seating and outdoor furniture.
“Although storage products manufactured in steel and wood will continue to be at the heart of what we do, strategically, Bisley continues to diversify into a sector that does not compete with our main customers and that perfectly complements our product portfolio,” said Costin.
“We also intend to work with MARK Product to produce a list of specific ranges for Bisley’s online consumer sites.”
