The BOSS Business Supplies Charity thanked its benefactors at a Patrons’ Dinner last week.
Over 100 patrons and guests attended the dinner hosted at the prestigious Stationers’ Hall, London. The charity reported a successful year in 2023 and thanked the patrons and supporters who had made it possible, adding its ambition to help even more people in 2024.
The evening’s guest speaker – comedian Jo Caulfield – created a buzz with her ‘no holds barred’ jesting being well received by the room. Attendees were certainly impressed by her love of stationery and dedication to researching the product ranges of her audience.
BOSS Charity Chair Martin Wilde commented: “Recent events in the industry – against a backdrop of rising living costs – mean that we have more people than ever asking for our help, so we are doubly grateful that many in our industry are so supportive of the BOSS Charity’s work. I particularly want to thank Premier Paper, Lyreco UK, OPI and Phil Jones MBE for making the event possible.”
At the dinner, Wilde also announced next year’s event would be particularly special in recognition of 2025 being the charity’s centenary. The BOSS Charity’s Centenary Patron’s Dinner will be held at King’s College, Cambridge on 26 March 2025.
Before then, the annual Charity Day will be held on 19 June 2024 in Cheshire.
