BOSS has teamed up with members and key industry partners to support independent dealers in their diversification efforts.
The UK office products industry association has launched the BOSS Diversification Hub, a new resource designed to help dealers and sales professionals identify and develop opportunities in emerging and high-potential categories across the workplace supply landscape.
The hub provides insights, guidance and practical resources across a range of workplace-related sectors. These include cleaning and hygiene, furniture and ergonomics, technology, workwear and PPE, industrial and warehouse supplies, print and promotional products, personal care and wellbeing, breakroom products, and health and safety.
BOSS said the initiative reflects growing interest among dealers in expanding into complementary categories as they seek new revenue streams, deeper customer relationships and added value for clients.
“The Diversification Hub reflects what our dealer members have been telling us – that they want clearer guidance, stronger insight and practical support as they explore new opportunities alongside their core categories,” said BOSS CEO Amy Hutchinson.
“Our industry is evolving, and dealers are evolving with it. This hub has been created to help them grow with confidence, backed by the expertise of manufacturers, partners and the wider BOSS community.
“Looking ahead, we plan to expand guidance into sector-specific opportunities and continuously enrich the hub with new insights and practical resources, ensuring it remains a living, growing platform shaped by the needs and contributions of our members.”
Dealers and sales professionals that would like to stay informed with the latest insights or suggest additional categories for inclusion in the hub are being encouraged to connect with BOSS and share their feedback.
The association is also asking manufacturers to contribute content, expertise and resources to the hub as part of a wider effort to support dealer growth and development.
