New EVO CEO Andrew Gale has wasted no time in taking a strategic decision at the business supplies group.
The company has announced in no uncertain terms that long-serving Managing Director Adrian Butler will now be focused full-time on the VOW Wholesale unit.
“Just to be absolutely clear, Ade will cease to have any involvement with our Banner business,” EVO said in a statement.
Gale stated: “This was my first decision as EVO CEO and it was not a difficult call. Ade is VOW and is at his best working with our VOW customers. I want him and the VOW sales team to focus 100% on helping our VOW Wholesale customers grow and win in the marketplace. I believe in getting people in the right jobs, and then letting them do their stuff. The Banner sales leads will report into me directly moving forward.”
Banner has not had a full-time Managing Director since Craig Varey left the reseller at the end of 2021, while Butler has been Managing Director of VOW since 2010.
Butler added: “I have gained a wealth of experience working across the group in the past 12 months […] and very much look forward to working with the [VOW] team and our customers more closely.”
