Biggest trends…
Annaliese Curtis, Trade Marketing Manager, Fellowes Brands
There is a shift to ergonomic, wellbeing-led and integrated workspace solutions from product-led solutions, especially as hybrid working is here to stay. Demand for compliance (DSE/ESG) and future-proofed DSE assessments needs to be met for both office and home working in hybrid set-ups.
Martina Alexander, Regional Marketing Director, ACCO Brands EMEA
The peripherals market is growing steadily at around 3% each year. Influenced by the economic climate and RAM price changes, organisations are extending the life of their hardware by investing in quality peripherals.
Grace Martin, Admin and Marketing Assistant, Group Gear
At Group Gear, we have expanded and upgraded our current range to include USB-C, ensuring we stay ahead of the evolving trends and consumer needs. This includes wired and wireless USB-C headsets, USB-C docking stations, chargers and keyboard and mouse sets.
Jonathan Colbourne, Brand and Communications Manager, Verbatim EMEA
The WFH market remains robust. With ongoing pressure on travel costs, many professionals and businesses are continuing to prioritise home and hybrid set-ups over commuting. This is sustaining demand for high-quality, space-efficient peripherals that replicate an office experience at home without adding complexity.
What subcategories are performing particularly well?
Grace Martin
We have noticed a rise in demand for our mobile docking stations, noise-reducing headsets and wireless accessories. This encouraged the design and launch of our new wireless keyboard and mouse set with a USB-C dongle.
Homeworking has also driven sales in accessories such as webcams, speakers and headsets. These products enable employees to participate in virtual meetings, training sessions, webinars and day-to-day communication from the comfort of their own homes.
As remote communication and collaboration have become a standard part of modern working life, features such as noise cancellation, HD video quality and wireless connectivity are crucial for technology peripherals.

Fellowes is seeing strong growth across desktop power, connectivity, hybrid workspace tech, monitor arms and ergonomic solutions. Sustainability is increasingly important too, and all Fellowes ergonomic solutions come with a five-year warranty, are made from recycled content and are recyclable either directly or via our ReTake take-back scheme.
Martina Alexander
Security remains a top priority, with privacy screen filters becoming essential for safeguarding sensitive on-screen information. Hybrid workers continue to seek fully featured mobile docking stations to remain connected wherever they may be working and Kensington has the product range, marketing assets and excellent service to support this.
Where do you see the strongest margin opportunities for dealers?
John Caswell, Director, Group Gear
As a B2B supplier, Group Gear helps protect the consumer market by selling exclusively through our dealer network rather than directly to end users. This approach supports our partners by preventing channel conflict, allowing dealers to maintain customer relationships, protect their margins and confidently promote our products within their own markets.
Annaliese Curtis
The best margins lie in spec-driven, consultative solutions rather than price-led products, with the opportunity to bundle full workspace solutions. Our educational and decision-making tools help guide the best buying decisions:
- Zone approach to ergonomic solutions: Fellowes Workspace Zone Approach – Fellowes
- DSE-style workstation assessment tool: Healthy Workstation Assessment – Fellowes
- Product selector tools: privacy screens Choosing the Right Privacy Filter – Fellowes
James Reed, Managing Director, Endpoint Solutions UK & Ireland, TD SYNNEX
Asking end-user customers the right questions at the right time and encouraging them to consider whether their set-up is still suitable for the way people work is crucial. By taking a broader perspective, partners can recommend a complete package that fits together well and delivers a better experience – one that in turn helps maximise productivity in the workplace.
Every user wants the best solutions they can afford and businesses are usually willing to pay a little more for a product that is easier to use and delivers a frictionless experience.
We make best-selling add-ons visible across all products on our e-commerce platform, making it easy for partners to quote for those items alongside a new laptop or PC. Frequent special offers and promotions are available, and our teams are always ready to help with special bids and quotations.
Sustainability is a big issue with electronics and tech products. What are you doing and how can dealers get involved?
Martina Alexander
The Kensington EQ range embraces FSC-certified materials as the new standard, reduces plastic or leverages recycled alternatives when possible, and optimises packaging dimensions to enhance shipping efficiency.
Grace Martin
Group Gear is a sustainability-focused company committed to improving carbon efficiency and embedding environmentally responsible practices throughout the business. We actively seek ways to reduce our environmental impact – from the way we power our operations to the methods we use for transport and logistics.
We also use biodegradable bags made from compostable materials across our product range, helping to reduce plastic waste and minimise the environmental impact of our packaging. In addition, we work with a dedicated recycling partner who responsibly manages the disposal and recycling of all end-of-life PCs and internal equipment on our behalf, helping to reduce electronic waste and ensure materials are processed in an environmentally responsible manner.
Johnathan Colbourne
Sustainability is important to our product development, particularly in light of EU-wide initiatives such as the USB-C charging standard. All new laptops sold in the EU must now support USB-C charging, helping reduce electronic waste by cutting down on redundant chargers and improving device compatibility.
We are supporting this shift with versatile USB-C and GaN charging solutions that allow multiple devices to be powered from a single unit, reducing materials and extending product lifecycles. Beyond this, we have introduced plastic-free packaging and developed USB drives made entirely from recycled plastic– practical steps toward lowering our environmental footprint.
For dealers, there is an opportunity to play an active role in this transition by helping customers select universal, longer-lasting solutions that reduce waste. It is about prioritising sustainability where options exist and making choices that support a circular, responsible approach to technology.
James Reed
Through the TD SYNNEX Renew programme, we support the recycling or refurbishment of Windows laptops, gaming consoles, other IT equipment and mobile devices. In addition, we offer a widened range of circular IT services through a dedicated portal, including certified data wipe, IT asset disposition (ITAD), refurbishment, technical repair and onsite in-custody.
