Experienced business products executive Richard Costin is to join The Business Supplies Group (BSG) in an advisory capacity.
The former Banner and Bisley Managing Director has been appointed as Strategic Growth Advisor at the reseller and will begin in the role later this month. His appointment follows the company’s recent acquisition of Quills as it continues to develop its growth strategy across the UK workplace solutions sector.
At BSG, Costin will work on a flexible consultancy basis, providing strategic input, sector insight and project support as the group continues to build scale, capability and market reach. He will focus on areas such as identifying and supporting strategic growth opportunities – including organic sales development, margin improvement, public sector and framework opportunities, partnership development and potential acquisitions – as well as commercial mentoring for the senior team.
