CTS Wholesale is in the final stages of preparing its new operation in Ireland.
The company is establishing a warehouse in Dublin that will hold stock locally and serve dealers and resellers across Ireland.
In an update to customers, CTS Wholesale Group Commercial Sales Director James Mckeever said warehouse racking was currently being fitted, with stock transfers and deliveries into Dublin expected over the next two weeks. Infrastructure and systems are also being installed and tested, the warehouse team is almost fully in place and delivery and distribution processes are undergoing testing.
The development follows plans first outlined last year, although Mckeever admitted the Irish operation had taken longer to establish than originally anticipated. Rather than commit to another opening date, he said CTS would only go live when stock was in situ, systems had been fully tested and the team was ready to serve customers.
“We want to enter the Irish market as well prepared as we possibly can and, most importantly, be in a position to deliver what we say we are going to deliver,” he stated in a letter to customers.
CTS added that its Irish proposition will not be based around a limited or reduced range. Its intention is to make the full CTS Wholesale portfolio available to Irish dealers and resellers, supported by stock held in Dublin and the wider products, services and capabilities of the CTS Group.
While the latest communication is not the official launch, CTS is already inviting dealers and resellers to register their interest and open accounts so they can be set up ahead of trading commencing.
“We are nearly ready,” said Mckeever, adding that further updates would be provided over the coming weeks.
