A week after confirming a restructuring process was underway at its Consumer & Business IT and Supplies divisions, Exertis is reportedly preparing to make around 90% of staff at these units redundant.
According to IT Channel Oxygen, Exertis’ employees have been told that numbers will be reduced from 1,200 to just 130. The company operates from four main locations in Basingstoke, Leeds, Burnley and Harlow. It was not specified to what extent the Supplies business – which provides wholesaling services to workplace supplies dealers – might be affected.
Exertis Supplies told Workplace360 that it was unable to comment on the reported redundancies.
