Wholesaler JGBM has launched its own range of ergonomic office chairs under a proprietary brand called Atlas.
For the past few years, the distributor has been supplying general purpose office chairs for special orders. Now, it is offering what it calls a “completely different proposition” with the introduction of a professional level ergonomic line-up.
There are currently three Atlas models: Task, Style and Pro. They have been designed according to display screen equipment (DSE) regulations, are sourced from a sustainably responsible UK-based supplier and come with a five-year guarantee. JGBM also said the chairs are easily transportable for distribution and are straightforward to assemble and set up.
Explaining the thinking behind the launch, Managing Director John George told Workplace360 that DSE rules in the UK encompass a range of products, so it was important for the company to offer a complete solution for the growing ergonomics category. The new chairs complement existing products such as height-adjustable desks, desk accessories, monitor stands and arms, and footrests.
