JGBM’s EcoSore system will launch to dealers on 1 June.
As demand grows for more eco-friendly technology products, the Plymouth-based wholesaler has developed an assessment tool that ranks individual tech items based on environmental criteria. Each product is evaluated within its category and, if it meets the required standards, is awarded an EcoScore Leaf accreditation – 1, 2 or 3 leaves – reflecting its sustainability performance.
“Until now, there’s been no consistent, scalable way to measure the environmental impact of individual tech products,” stated JGBM. “EcoScore solves that by being both credible and simple to deploy across reseller platforms.”
Managing Director John George will be presenting EcoScore at the Nemo Office Club conference on 6 June.
