Kyocera Document Solutions UK has launched a new integrated cloud software platform aimed at simplifying document workflows and print management in hybrid working environments.
The company’s Kyocera Business Solutions suite brings together scanning, content management and cloud printing applications within a single offering designed to run on its Digital Cloud Platform (DCP). The platform features centralised policy management and a multi-tenant architecture, enabling organisations to manage documents securely across multiple locations and devices.
The suite comprises three core services. Kyocera Cloud Capture provides secure document scanning with user authentication and automated routing of files into workflows, with support for searchable PDFs and integration with repositories such as Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint and Google Drive.
Kyocera Cloud Information Manager focuses on document storage and compliance, offering indexing, advanced search and audit trails alongside automated retention policies. The company said the application can be used to accelerate processes such as invoice approvals through automated indexing and policy-driven archiving.
The third component, Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan, enables secure print release and device-agnostic printing without the need for on-premise print servers or VPN connections. The service integrates with Microsoft Entra ID for authentication and allows organisations to apply print policies such as enforced duplex or mono output.
Kyocera added that the software is channel-ready and can be activated on compatible devices, allowing partners to deploy services quickly and offer subscription-based packages tailored to customer requirements.
Graham Foxwell, Product Marketing Lead at Kyocera Document Solutions UK, said the aim was to provide a single platform covering the full document lifecycle rather than separate tools for capture, storage and printing, reducing IT complexity and vendor management for customers while creating cross-selling opportunities for partners.
