HP Inc-owned Apogee has appointed its former CFO as its new CEO.
James Clark was CFO of the managed workplace services provider when it was acquired by HP in 2018. He moved to a finance role at HP in June 2022 and was most recently Head of Finance in the Hybrid Systems division at the print and PC giant.
Now he has returned to Apogee, taking over from CEO from Aurelio Maruggi, who will leave the business after four years.
It’s been a busy 12 months for Apogee, with two acquisitions in the UK and expansion into continental Europe. It said these had helped it record significant growth in its core services in 2023, including MPS (+28%), outsourced documents services (+25%) and managed IT services (+24%).
