Martin Wilde is to step down as Chair of the BOSS Business Supplies Charity (BBSC) at the end of this month.
Wilde, who has been a BOSS Charity trustee since 2015, has chaired the organisation through a fundamental transformation, including a new constitution and website, and the introduction of the Patronage Scheme and annual Patrons’ Dinners.
These efforts helped the BBSC grow revenue by more than 40% last year, which enabled it to make record-breaking grants of over £117,000 to industry colleagues in need in 2023.
Current Vice Chair Kelly Hilleard has been elected as the new Chair, with trustee Philip Wesolowski supporting her as Vice Chair.
Wilde commented: “I’m proud that the charity has achieved so much over the past few years. I particularly want to thank the trustees for their support and, in particular, Kelly Hilleard, who has helped us to progress so many of the changes we have made. I can only see the charity going from strength to strength under her leadership.”
