A new year brings new opportunities, and with the VOW Amplify event in Leeds on 26 January rapidly approaching, OPI CEO Steve Hilleard has been explaining why the industry’s leading publisher has chosen this event to launch its new printed publication, Workplace360.
To be published eight times a year, Workplace360 will address the issues and opportunities for companies like yours, supplying the evolving workplace.
“Over the past 32 years, OPI has become the global business supplies industry’s hub for essential resources, news, analysis, information, and networking. In the UK, OPI magazine (with its associated website and app) and our forums have become the go-to resources for news, industry developments, opinion, analysis, and debate. We have never championed one part of the industry; our interest has been in the whole channel from manufacturer to end user.”
As the breadth and depth of products and services offered has increased, traditional definitions of the addressable market have become too narrow, and OPI believes the trade press are missing opportunities to support the industry.
Hilleard says: “We believe that a 360-degree perspective of the whole workplace is required, hence the launch of Workplace360. We will be looking at the potential growth that exists in aligned and associated categories such as washroom, catering, facilities, health and safety, PPE, education and more. With analysis, trends and opinion, profiles of potential suppliers and trading partners, the new magazine will be essential reading for all professionals engaged in supplying the workplace.”
With VOW Wholesale holding a pivotal role at the heart of the supply chain, OPI saw the VOW Amplify event as a natural place for it to formally launch its new publication to manufacturers and resellers. To ensure it gets appropriate focus, Workplace360 has taken the position of Media Sponsor for the event and all delegates will receive a complimentary copy of the launch issue. There is also the opportunity for everyone to take out a free subscription and potentially take home a £200 hamper as well!
VOW Managing Director Adrian Butler is delighted to see the launch of Workplace360, and says: “VOW welcomes this new publication, which is both timely and very relevant, particularly in an industry that needs to evolve beyond its traditional core.”
The team at Workplace360 couldn’t agree more. Looking for growth beyond business supplies is at the heart of what has driven this new initiative. We hope to see you in Leeds!
