Independent retailer Warren & Son in Winchester, Hampshire, has been named the winner of Pentel’s #PassionForPens competition, held during National Stationery Week.
The campaign invited retailers to distribute free sample packs of Pentel’s Mattehop gel pens and encourage customers to take part in a creative competition with a chance to win £100 worth of Pentel products.
The winning entry, submitted by Megan Bonner from Portsmouth, was praised by judges for its clever use of Mattehop pens on glossy paper. As a result, Warren & Son received a prize bundle, including a 168-piece Mattehop display, a PLUS Glue Tape LE Candy Jar and a 24-piece PLUS School Scissors display.
Pentel Marketing Manager Wendy Vickery said: “We’re thrilled by the enthusiasm our independent retailers showed for this year’s National Stationery Week activity. Campaigns like #PassionForPens really show what’s possible when we team up with independent retailers.”
