Stationery and office supplies vendor Tombow has announced new distribution agreements for the UK and Ireland.
Stone Marketing is now the official distributor of the company’s products for B2B and B2C channels in the UK, effective from 1 September 2024. A similar arrangement has been agreed for Ireland with local player AM Dunne.
Previously, Tombow delivered direct from Germany for customers in Ireland. The B2B office channel in the UK was also serviced from Germany, although Stone Marketing looked after large retail customers.
“We have been considering for some time how to efficiently make our products available to a wider market,” said Tombow Europe Managing Director Uwe Keuchel.
“We have successfully worked with Simon Stone for many years, […] and now he will also look after our main UK wholesalers, namely Exertis and VOW. Likewise, David [Dunne] will be our sole distributor in Ireland, and this new agreement represents a key milestone in Tombow’s efforts to expand its brand presence in the Republic of Ireland where we know there is a demand for our brand.”
